Roers Companies celebrated the groundbreaking of Rowe on Monday, Oct. 23 in Victoria, Minnesota. Colorful fall leaves and a sunny day set the scene for this joyous event with city partners including Mayor Deb McMillan, members of Roers General Contracting, Roers Cos. leadership, investors, and project partners all in attendance.
Marty McCarthy, a developer on the project, addressed the crowd to share his gratitude and highlight the unique features of this undertaking. Rowe is a new, 125-unit mixed-use project. It will offer luxurious finishes and premium amenity spaces including a fitness center, rooftop skydeck and lounge, speakeasy, yoga studio, work-from-home spaces, and a community room. This project reflects a strong collaboration between the Roers Cos. team and the City of Victoria with the addition of 9,800 square feet of future retail space along Rose St. and the corner of Highway 5 included in the project plan. The design process took into consideration the charming feel of surrounding downtown buildings which Rowe’s exterior facade will match.
“We’ve always believed in putting community at the heart of everything we do. We don’t just build structures. Rowe is set to bring together local businesses, creating a hub for the community and a home for our residents. This is more than just a development.”
— Brian Roers, Owner and Co-Founder of Roers Companies
Shovels began moving dirt as part of the groundbreaking ceremony, and attendees followed up the celebration with drinks down the street at local favorite Winchester and Rye. Over the next 18 months, the team will continue to work hard to make Rowe a home for future residents and businesses alike.
