Scannell Properties and Roers Companies have purchased an approximately 75-acre infill site at the corner of Interstate 494 and Bass Lake Road in Plymouth, Minnesota, and will redevelop the site in a joint venture.
The current site includes a 500,000 square-foot office building that was constructed in the 1980s. Scannell and Roers Cos. will demolish that building and redevelop the site into a mixed-use property that will include retail, medical offices, multifamily residential and business facilities.
“Plymouth has a strong reputation for quality of life, with excellent schools, neighborhoods, businesses and parks. We will be working closely with the City of Plymouth to transform the site into hub for living, working and entertainment,” said Roers Companies’ Jeff Koch.
Currently, the plans call for roughly five buildings for retail, one medical office building, 500–1,000 units of apartment living, and a 450,000 square foot office park.
Land preparation is expected to begin late 2023 and development will occur over a five-year period.
