As General Counsel, Jeff Sprain leads the legal and risk management functions at Roers Companies. He is responsible for developing and executing legal strategies that support growth, create long-term value, and mitigate risk across all areas of the business.

Jeff brings more than 20 years of legal and real estate industry experience, including advising on complex transactions across multifamily, retail, and mixed-use developments. His background spans corporate governance, compliance, investment structuring, and risk management, with a focus on aligning legal strategy with business goals.

Earlier in his career, Jeff served as a research scientist and officer in the United States Air Force. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota, graduating magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, and holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
