Venue Apartments Sale Marks Successful Project Lifecycle

Roers Cos. is pleased to announce the successful sale of Venue Apartments in Chanhassen, Minn., which closed on December 10, 2025.

Venue was a defining project for both Roers Cos. and the Chanhassen community when it opened in September 2019. The 134-unit, market-rate apartment community features a robust amenity package, including a golf simulator, fitness center, skydeck and skylounge, clubroom, coffee lounge, business center, underground parking, and private patios and balconies. The property also includes an attached ALDI, a unique mixed-use component that brought added convenience for residents and contributed to the vibrancy of the surrounding area.

Venue opened 46% leased and quickly demonstrated strong performance. The project earned multiple distinctions, including being named one of Finance & Commerce’s Top Projects of 2019, an ABC Excellence in Construction Award, an Elite 1% ORA Power Ranking in 2020 for its online reputation, and Roers Cos.’ internal 2022 Property of the Year honor. Its success reinforced the firm’s disciplined development strategy and ability to deliver high-quality communities in competitive suburban markets.

From 2019 until today, Venue generated consistent occupancy and financial performance. The property delivered strong outcomes for investors, culminating in a successful sale that marked the full lifecycle of the project. Its sale ranks among the highest price-per-door transactions in the Twin Cities suburbs during 2025.

Venue’s success also helped establish Roers Cos.’ presence in Chanhassen and paved the way for continued investment in the community. The company currently has two additional nearby projects under construction — Bennett and Harlow — building on the momentum and market confidence established by Venue.
