Roers Companies earned national recognition today on the National Multifamily Housing Council’s (NMHC) 2024 NMHC 50, the annual ranking of the nation’s top apartment owners, managers, developers, builders, and syndicators. Roers Cos. secured the 12th spot among the largest apartment developers in the country, with 3,291 units breaking ground throughout 2023.

Additionally, Roers Cos. landed at No. 21 among the top builders in the United States with 2,467 units started by Roers Cos.’ general contracting team in 2023. This comes after launching Roers General Contracting just over two years ago, demonstrating the incredible nationwide growth trajectory for Roers Cos. in-house contracting team. This is our first recognition as a builder at any level, so joining the nation’s 25 most active multifamily general contractors is a significant first impression for our team!

Executive Vice President Shane LaFave shared a few remarks, “Starting on 3,291 units overall, 2,467 of which we are building ourselves, in just one year is a remarkable achievement. It’s humbling to be recognized on the NMHC Top 50 list as both a developer and builder. I am incredibly proud of our team’s dedication and commitment to building high-quality housing in a year where there was no shortage of hurdles to overcome.”
