Congratulations to our Chief Financial Officer Tom Cronin, who was selected as one of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s 2023 CFO of the Year Honorees! MSPBJ announced and recently celebrated honorees at a luncheon. Colleagues and family joined Tom at the celebration.

Tom has made a significant impact in a relatively short time at Roers Companies. Since joining in March of 2021, he has overseen the sales of eight multifamily properties totaling over $390 million. He has also led an advantageous refinance of our workforce housing to further improve the company’s financial position. The MSPBJ wrote a feature profile on Tom that can be read here.

Tom’s experience and insights are vital in evaluating the firm’s growth and development opportunities while mitigating risk as the company increases its headcount and expands into new states. Tom’s responsibilities have grown in the last two years from overseeing just accounting and asset management departments. The company’s property management, IT, and marketing departments now report through Tom, and he’s created a new in-house legal team to help with the complexities of growing a national development and construction business. Tom has previously been recognized as a Twin Cities Business 2022 Notable CFO.
