Callisto Commons has earned recognition as one of Finance & Commerce’s Top Projects of 2025.

The annual program honors standout developments from across Minnesota and recognizes the teams that successfully delivered projects despite challenging market conditions. An independent panel of judges assessed projects based on degree of difficulty, creativity in design, innovative construction techniques, cooperation among contractors and management, and sustainability efforts. Members of our Roers Cos. team celebrated alongside other firms doing outstanding work at the awards event on July 23, 2026.

Located in Fridley, Minnesota, Callisto Commons is a 169-unit affordable housing community offering one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes. The community features a variety of resident amenities, including a fitness center, community room, outdoor patio, playground, and community garden.

As developer and general contractor, Roers Companies worked alongside many project partners, including Kaas Wilson and Loucks, to bring the vision for Callisto Commons to life. Strong collaboration, innovative design, and integrated project management helped ensure the project’s success. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to this achievement!
