Brian and Kent kickoff the All Aboard conference

From April 8–9, teams across Roers Companies gathered for the 2026 All Aboard Conference at The Depot in Minneapolis. It was a chance to step back, align on where we’re headed, and build momentum for the year ahead. Numerous sessions, activities, and celebrations made for a memorable two days together.

Progress Happens Mile by Mile

Throughout the conference, one message came through clearly: meaningful progress doesn’t happen all at once. Brian and Kent reflected on the past year — how the company reached an important milestone for the business where all our lines were operating at once. They emphasized that the real work begins now when the line fully comes alive. Success comes from consistent effort.

That idea was reinforced by keynote speaker Walter Bond, who challenged the team to focus on getting just 2% better. Progress, supported by strong systems and the right people, are what ultimately drive big results.

Insightful Sessions and Team Celebration

Presenters shared department wins and the company’s forecast, and teams gained a clearer understanding of where the firm is going and how their work connects to the bigger picture. When priorities are clear, decisions get easier, alignment gets stronger, and momentum builds faster. Breakout sessions offered valuable opportunities to learn from both industry experts and our own team members. Carl Whitaker provided a perspective on the multifamily market, while Sarah Tostrud led a session on navigating tough conversations, and Jordan Daugherty spoke about building influence in working relationships. Internal presenters also brought forward practical insights. Topics ranged from leveraging technology for greater efficiency to refining sales strategies, strengthening culture, and understanding the full lifecycle of multifamily projects. As one attendee put it: “The sessions were insightful, and the opportunity to collaborate and learn from others was incredibly valuable.” From construction site visits to hands-on team activities, the conference reinforced that our greatest advantage is the knowledge, collaboration, and commitment of our people.

And for that reason, celebrating our people was an important part of the agenda. There were team-building activities, a welcome event, and even a memorable musical kickoff from Co-Owners and Founders Brian and Kent Roers. This year’s conference included time to connect, have fun, and strengthen relationships across teams and regions. The All Aboard conference closed with the annual RoCo Awards to recognize the individual and team achievements from 2025. Read more about the winners here.
