Kent Roers is Co-CEO and Founder of Roers Companies. He began his real estate career more than 25 years ago, gaining firsthand experience across residential real estate, finance, and investment management. His entrepreneurial mindset and passion for creating value helped lay the foundation for Roers Companies’ growth into a national multifamily real estate firm.

Kent earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2001 and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southwest Minnesota State University. He co-founded Roers Companies with his brother, Brian Roers, in 2012. Today, Kent leads the company’s strategic growth initiatives and investment strategy while helping shape the vision and long-term direction of the organization.

Under Kent’s leadership, Roers Cos. has grown into a fully integrated multifamily real estate firm with in-house development, construction, and property management capabilities. The company has achieved more than 100 project closings and surpassed $4 billion in development, totaling more than 16,000 residential units across more than a dozen states.

Kent’s leadership and entrepreneurial vision have been recognized throughout the industry. Most recently in 2026, he and Brian Roers were named finalists for the Ernst & Young (EY) Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Heartland region.
