When strong teams work well together, it shows in the finished project. That spirit was at the center of the 2026 Minnesota Builder’s Best Awards, held August 19 at Surly Brewing. For the second year, members of the Roers Cos. construction team gathered with trade partners to recognize the companies whose craftsmanship, reliability, safety, collaboration, and commitment make an impact across projects throughout the region.

The Builder’s Best Awards are designed to celebrate the trade partners who consistently go above and beyond on Roers Cos. jobsites. Honorees are nominated and selected by local project teams. This gives the people who work alongside these partners every day the opportunity to recognize outstanding performance firsthand. The 2026 Minnesota Builder’s Best Award winners include:

• Trade Partner of the Year: Swan Companies
  • Recognizes a trade partner that excels in collaboration, reliability, and overall impact on our projects, setting the standard for excellence in the industry.
• Supplier of the Year: Hallmark Building Supplies
  • Recognizes a supplier who provides exceptional service, product quality, and reliability, ensuring seamless collaboration with our Purchasing, Design, and Operations teams.
• Commitment to Safety: Northland Concrete & Masonry Company
  • Recognizes a trade partner that prioritizes safety, maintains a strong safety record, and ensures that job sites are secure for all team members.
• Master of Momentum: Mindak
  • Recognizes a trade partner that consistently meets or exceeds project deadlines, keeps work progressing efficiently, and demonstrates outstanding scheduling coordination.
• Excellence in Quality: Structures, Inc.
  • Recognizes a trade partner that consistently delivers outstanding craftsmanship, attention to detail, and superior workmanship on every project.

The celebration also recognized this year’s finalists: Berd Electric, J-Berd Mechanical, KONE Elevator, Mayfield Truss, Molin, and Preferred Metal Inc. Their contributions reflect the depth of talent and partnership across Roers Cos.’ Minnesota trade network.
