Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) presents the Patriot Award each year to an individual supervisor for support provided directly to the nominating Service member. The award reflects the efforts made to support citizen warriors through a wide-range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if needed.

Our Vice President of Property Management, Jamie Luehrs, was nominated by our Regional Manager, United States Navy Reservist Petty Officer 2nd Class Chelsea Kunzler, and was chosen to receive this year’s award.

“My direct supervisor, Jamie Luehrs, and the Vice President of HR, Becky Hamm, have shown the utmost respect and supportiveness around my reserve responsibilities,” said Kunzler.

The award was presented at our annual Roers Companies conference. Congratulations to Jamie on this well-deserved honor!
