Roers Companies recently brought together team members for a “Heart for Home” day of service at Savor Apartments in West St. Paul. Held in recognition of Onsite Teams Day, the event gave more than 25 volunteers the opportunity to support property management staff while helping enhance the community and prepare the property for warm days ahead.
Throughout the day, volunteers contributed across a variety of projects, including landscaping, planting, painting, window washing, and deep cleaning. Teams spread mulch, refreshed planters, and cleaned patio furniture, ensuring shared spaces are ready for residents to enjoy as spring weather arrives. Others extended the effort beyond the property by picking up trash nearby.

The “Heart for Home” event reflects Roers Cos.’ commitment to creating communities people are proud to call home, while also supporting the onsite teams who care for these properties every day.
“Properties are people’s homes, and our onsite teams take a lot of pride in how they care for them,” said Stacy Ekholm, SVP of Property Operations at Roers Companies. “It was great to see our team come together to support that effort. Everyone jumped in — whether it was mulching, planting, painting, or cleaning — and took real ownership in making the community look its best. It was a beautiful day, and the impact was something you could see right away.”
With refreshed outdoor spaces and a strong sense of teamwork on display, the event marked a meaningful start to what Roers Cos. plans to continue through its “Heart for Home” initiative.
