The RoCo Awards are a signature event at Roers Companies. On Thursday, April 9, 2026, employees and guests gathered to recognize the individuals and teams who set the standard for excellence across the organization. When reflecting on the achievements of 2025, there is no shortage of accomplishments worth celebrating. Each RoCo winner represents what it means to live out our values every day. They bring leadership, inspiration, and a commitment to their work and their teams. Join us in congratulating this year’s award recipients:

Construction Awards

  • Foundation Award: Tessa Skradde
    • Goes to an individual who maintains a solid foundation for our field teams’ success through their tireless support and collaboration. 
  • Pathfinder Award: Sammy Huberty
    • Goes to a construction team member who enhances our projects with their expertise, teamwork, and leadership.
  • Superintendent of the Year: Roger Winslow
    • Goes to a superintendent who goes above and beyond to ensure their job site is safe and clean, coordinating with trade partners and internal teams to stay on schedule and on budget while delivering a top-quality finished product
  • Project Manager of the Year: Daniel Galvez
    • Goes to a standout project manager who exemplifies our company values, runs their projects efficiently and effectively, and consistently demonstrates great leadership qualities
  • Project of the Year: Rowe
    • Goes to a team that completed a project in 2025 that stood out above the rest with excellent teamwork, exceptional performance, on-budget and on-time construction, a stellar jobsite safety record, and a top-finished product. 

Property Management Awards

  • Navigator Award: Brunetta Adkins
    • Goes to an outstanding Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager who leads their property or properties to have strong occupancy, resident satisfaction, site financial performance, and team retention.
  • North Star Award: Shanna Modisette
    • Goes to a property management team member who goes above and beyond to make the resident experience truly exceptional.
  • Maintenance MVP Award: Bo Korth
    • Goes to a standout member of our maintenance team who completes work orders promptly and successfully, elevates the experience for residents, and bolsters the on-site team through their exceptional work ethic and quality.
  • Leasing Legend Award: Daniel Sparks
    • Goes to the Corporate Leasing Specialist or onsite Leasing Consultant who sets the bar for our leasing efforts — completing prospect follow-ups promptly, consistently converting tours to leases, and creating a fantastic overall prospect experience.
  • Lease-Up of the Year: Ryder Ridge
    • Goes to a property that received a Certificate of Occupancy in 2025 and stood out above the rest.

Culture Awards

  • Teamwork: Kim Gee
    • Goes to a true team player who steps up whenever and wherever they are needed, working effectively across roles and departments through strong communication, collaboration, and empathy.
  • Work Ethic: Eddie Starz
    • Goes to an individual who is tenacious, focused, and accountable. They get their work done right and solve problems to achieve results.
  • Ownership Mindset: Chad Wuollet
    • Goes to an individual who effectively makes decisions with the impact — on people, profits, and the overall business — at the forefront of their mind.
  • Integrity: Melissa Reichstadt
    • Goes to an individual who does what’s right with humility and trustworthiness.
  • Passion: Brianna Hoffman
    • Goes to an individual who inspires others with their enthusiasm, acumen, drive, and grit.

Corporate Department Awards

  • Partnership: Taryn Harris
    • Goes to a true collaborator and business partner for employees across the organization. This person leads critical cross-functional processes or initiatives with proactive communication, curiosity, strategic alignment, accountability, and exemplary teamwork. 
  • Catalyst: Robby Geiken
    • Goes to an innovative and impactful individual member whose work significantly elevates our business performance and/or the employee experience.
  • Cornerstone: Asset Management
    • This group award goes to a corporate department that consistently and reliably supports others through collaboration, communication, creative problem-solving, and a shared commitment to achieving outcomes

Company Awards

  • Rising Star Award: Jim Duerr
    • Goes to an employee who has joined Roers Companies within the past two years and quickly made a significant impact across the business in their role.
  • Impact Award: Kevin Sturgeon
    • Goes to an employee whose stellar performance this year revealed an impactful leader who is key to our company’s success and a top performer in their role.
  • Employee of the Year: Isaac Kendall
    • Goes to an individual who models the company’s core values, plays a vital role in the company’s success, and motivates us to keep raising the bar.
