The Buttered Tin Coming to The Boulevard in Plymouth

Posted in Project News

The Buttered Tin, a Twin Cities–based restaurant and bakery, has announced plans to open a new location in Plymouth, Minn., at The Boulevard, a mixed-use redevelopment at the former Prudential campus. The restaurant will open within Coborn’s Market & Table — a flagship concept for Coborn’s and its first Twin Cities grocery store. It will be located at the southeast corner of I-494 and Bass Lake Road.

Founded in St. Paul in 2013, The Buttered Tin offers scratch-made comfort food and bakery items. The Plymouth restaurant marks the brand’s third Twin Cities–area location. It joins existing locations in Lowertown St. Paul and Northeast Minneapolis.

The addition of The Buttered Tin reflects continued momentum at The Boulevard. Notably, Summit Orthopedics opened as the site’s first tenant in October 2025.
