As regional manager, Demetrius Smith oversees Roers Companies’ properties throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth and South Texas regions. Her portfolio includes both affordable and market-rate communities in various phases of lease-up and stabilization.

Demetrius brings more than two decades of experience in property management, with a strong background in affordable housing programs, including Section 42 and combination sites. She began her career in 2004 as a leasing consultant and has since held a variety of leadership roles such as assistant community manager, community manager, multi-site manager, and area manager. Over the years, she has successfully led teams through new lease-ups, compliance-focused operations, and community improvements. Demetrius holds an associate’s degree in office management from Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas.
