Solana Villas, a new 200-unit affordable housing community in Buckeye, Arizona, celebrated its ceremonial grand opening on Thursday, February 27. Though residents began moving in last September, this event provided an opportunity for city officials, community leaders, and partners to commemorate the addition of much-needed housing in Buckeye.
Buckeye Mayor Eric Orsborn attended the celebration and spoke about the significance of Solana Villas as the first multifamily housing development in the city in more than 20 years. Other city representatives and members of the local Chamber of Commerce joined our Roers Cos. attendees to mark the occasion.
The event brought together key members of our team to recognize the strong partnership between Roers Companies, the city of Buckeye, and Maricopa County. Maricopa County produced a video segment highlighting the impact of Solana Villas, including an interview with a resident expressing gratitude for her new home. You can watch the full video below.
With amenities such as a swimming pool, club room, and fitness center, Solana Villas provides high-quality, affordable housing for residents earning at or below 60% of the area median income. This grand opening marks an exciting milestone in Buckeye’s growth, and we’re proud to have worked alongside city and county leaders to make this project a reality.
Congratulations to everyone who has worked together to create this beautiful new home for Buckeye residents! If you’d like to learn more about this property, view photos, or check availability, visit www.solana-villas.com/.
