The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for helping maintain brands and generate leads through marketing campaigns. Duties include performing market research, strategizing with marketing team, and using a variety of digital platforms to drive interest and occupancy in our apartment communities.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a multi-faceted, detail-minded marketer who is willing to own multiple channels at once, optimizing to increase efficiencies. The person for this role should be a curious problem-solver who’s comfortable becoming the go-to resource for our marketing systems and strategies. The ability to handle multiple brands effectively is essential — maintaining a cohesive brand direction and communicating property-specific details consistently and effectively across all channels.


  • Working with Marketing Manager(s) and Vice President of Marketing to implement marketing campaigns for our growing portfolio of brands
  • Overseeing marketing technology systems used to enhance customer reviews, engage and retain residents, and nurture leads
  • Understanding sales and leasing workflows and tracking key performance indicators on a monthly basis, creating and sharing recurring reports
  • Creating content for our resident loyalty program and social media channels
  • Designing and writing multi-touch campaigns
  • Implementing website improvements in RENTCafé and WordPress platforms including design, copywriting, user experience, and search engine optimization
  • Developing email marketing campaigns to achieve business objectives
  • Performing research on new market trends, technologies, and competitors
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business, or related field preferred)
  • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience in a corporate or agency environment
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Excel, WordPress, MailChimp, Google Analytics, Google My Business, SEO
  • Computer skills preferred: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Facebook, Instagram, Chatmeter, Modern Message, ILS platforms (e.g.,
  • Experience in real estate property management, leasing, and/or B2C marketing preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; is clear, concise, positive, and professional
  • Able to interact with wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, inquisitive, motivating, energetic, and results-driven
  • Flexible to juggle multiple projects and priorities to meet changing deadlines
